Breaking the Rules through CONFRONTATION!

May 07, 2024

Sip of the Week: We all avoid things that bring up pain or make us feel uncomfortable. And yet, if it were so easy to heal and move on from a trauma or challenging situation simply by avoiding it we all would be thriving- unfortunately that is not how it works. Tune in as Katie and I talk about the power that comes from confronting difficult emotions, past T(t)raumas or challenging scenarios head-on. While it might feel intimidating it actually is very healing, and we all have the ability and power within to do so. Katie works with individuals confronting their hard, so learn from her wisdom as she gives us all the tea on how to confront your hard here!

Let it Brew: Confrontation can be a powerful tool for healing. It involves facing difficult emotions, past traumas, or challenging situations head-on, rather than avoiding or suppressing them. Confrontation in the context of healing means acknowledging and addressing the root causes of pain or discomfort. It requires courage and self-awareness to confront these aspects of ourselves, but doing so can lead to profound growth and emotional freedom.

Post-Tea Pursuits: This week, I challenge you to identify one aspect of your life or past experiences that you've been avoiding confronting. It could be an unresolved issue, a fear, a limiting belief, or a difficult conversation you've been putting off. First consider what is keeping you stuck. Why are you avoiding this particular confrontation? Then sit down and write a letter (that you will not send) to this person, experience, belief- whatever it might be! Get out all your feelings and be as honest as possible. Reflect on your thoughts and emotions throughout this process  and consider how embracing confrontation led to greater clarity, healing, and personal empowerment.
